Residents of the Caribbean town of Guapiles in Costa Rica’s province of Limon celebrated their 2008 Christmas Fantasy Festival. Similar to the much larger Light Festival that takes place in downtown San Jose, the Christmas Fantasy Festival entertained thousands of spectators this weekend.

Good news for all car owners in San Jose’s downtown area. Authorities from the Transportation Department in Costa Rica have announced that vehicle restriction will be waived starting Monday December 22nd.
